Luna Lazuli LLC makes Polyquill. This notice explains what the app and this site collect, why, and what they never touch.

Your writing stays on your computer

Polyquill projects are files on your own computer. The app never sends your writing, notes, timelines or pictures to us or anyone else.

When you buy

Our payment provider collects your name, email address, country and payment details to take the payment and charge the right tax. We receive your name, email address, country and what you bought, so we can send your licence key and receipt and help you later. We never see your card details.

When you activate Polyquill

Activating a computer, and the occasional check-in after it, sends:

• your licence key;
• a one-way fingerprint of the computer, made from a Windows identifier, which cannot be turned back into that identifier;
• a name for the computer, which you can change;
• the Polyquill version and the operating system version.

We use these only to keep the licence to two computers and to show you your computers in your account.

When you write to us

Messages sent through the contact page are stored with your name, email address, any organisation you give, and the address your message came from, so we can reply and stop abuse. Error reports from the app are sent only when you choose to send them, by email, and contain what the report window shows you.

This site

polyquill.app uses no advertising, no analytics and no tracking cookies. Our server records the address of each request for a short time to protect the site from abuse.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run Polyquill for us: our payment provider, our host, and our email service, each for its own part of the job. We do not sell personal information.

Keeping and deleting

We keep purchase records as long as tax law requires, and licence records while your licence exists. You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or for it to be deleted where the law allows, at contact@polyquill.app.
